Denise Mountenay

WATCH THE EPISODE

Marion MacKenzie sits down with author, speaker, and global advocate Denise Mountenay for a deeply personal and thought-provoking conversation. Together, they explore a topic that is often emotional, complex, and not always fully understood—approaching it with compassion, honesty, and a desire to bring greater awareness. Denise shares her powerful life journey, along with insights from years of research and advocacy, offering perspectives on physical, emotional, and spiritual impacts that are not often part of mainstream conversations.

Denise is a survivor of rape, teen pregnancy, and three abortions. For decades she has courageously shared both her personal story and the research she has studied—bridging peer reviewed, statistically significant scientific data with heartfelt testimony to bring hope and healing to those suffering in silence. Denise has spoken in universities, schools, churches, and international conferences, appeared on major television and radio programs, authored two national best-selling books, and co-executive produced the award-winning documentary HUSH. Her advocacy work has even been recognized with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Currently, Denise is producing a feature documentary called Truth Matters-  The Impacts of Abortion. Far from judgement or condemnation, our episode is about listening, learning, and making space for truth, compassion, and restoration.
